MODOT utilizes grant for bridge projects

Missouri Department of Transportation is utilizing a grant from Governor Mike Parson to repair and maintain road bridges. The $351 million 'Focus on Bridges' program will give the department financial support to repair over 250 bridges across the state.

In northwest Missouri, a bridge replacement project has started northbound over Hopkins Creek in Andrew County. It is expected to go through September. In Dekalb County, the Lost Creek Bridge has been closed on Route A for repairs which is expected to be finished in June.

MoDOT continues to prepare for other highway maintenance repairs for the summer of 2021
